Take a tour of buzzing Courtenay Place for your World of WearableArt weekend.
Try a WOW-themed cocktail at Dragonfly. The modern Asian restaurant has created a drink inspired by the colours of WOW: BEYOND. The Japanese Garden combines gin, grapefruit juice, elderflower, and coconut foam. A treat for your tastebuds, and your Instagram story.
Head down the road to The Champagneria. Positioned at the top of Courtenay Place, Wellington’s dedicated champagne and sparkling wine bar is sure to get you fizzing. The rooftop space has excellent views over the city below.
For WOW, the bar will be hosting a BEYOND-themed drag show — Nessquick will be taking guests to the year 3000 with a special World of WearableArt drag performance. With cocktails, tapas, and a drag extravaganza, it’s the perfect warm-up for your WOW weekend.

Squirrel Café
If you’re looking to fuel up for your evening, stop by Lulu (and bring a friend). The modern New Zealand and Pacific-inspired restaurant has a sharing menu for two throughout the WOW season. With a main and two sides, pair with prosecco or a WOW-inspired cocktail.
After you’ve soaked up the theatrical spectacular of the WOW 2023 show, pop by Small Acorns for shopping and a debrief over coffee. WOW ticket holders can enjoy a free coffee at the store’s sister café, Squirrel, with any purchase. If you’re still in the mood to browse the racks, WOW ticket holders can enjoy discounts at women’s boutiques, Goodness, and LUC.
