Welly Walks goes wild on 24 and 25 January. For one weekend only, specially marked boxes filled with local treats will be placed on six trails around the Wellington region. From 9am each day, you’ll find goodies and access to bonus regional deals.
In celebration of Welly Walks, we’re giving away an overnight escape for two at Parangarehu. This beautiful, -owned retreat is the ultimate spot for a peaceful staycation.
Perched above the rugged Wainuiomata coastline, Parangarehu offers uninterrupted ocean views and star‑filled night skies. There’s also the chance to spot dolphins, native , and even whales if you’re lucky. On a clear day, you can see right across to the Kaikōura Range.
The fully furnished unit comes with an outdoor bath, kitchenette, queen bed, and barbecue. The unique location also offers access to nearby trails, perfect for walking or biking adventures.
The prize includes one night of accommodation for two adults, the use of two e‑bikes, and welcoming refreshments. Estimated value $750.
