Join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional ticketing experiences across some of Wellington’s most iconic venues.
We’re on the lookout for a Ticketing Executive to join our Venues Wellington team - making sure every ticket, every seat, and every on-sale runs like clockwork.
At WellingtonNZ, we work closely with hirers, ticketing providers and internal teams to deliver events that are well set up, well sold, and well loved. In this role, you’ll be right at the centre of it all - driving ticketing execution, supporting sales performance, and helping create seamless experiences for our guests.
About the role
Reporting to the Performance Events Manager, you’ll be the go-to for all things ticketing - managing ticketing operations across Venues Wellington and acting as the key link between Ticketmaster, hirers and our internal teams.
From first on-sale through to final reporting, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly, accurately and on time.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Build and coordinate ticketing setups, pricing, seating plans, allocations and inventory across events
- Partner with Ticketmaster, hirers and internal teams to deliver seamless on-sales
- Checking the detail, ensuring ticketing setups, pricing and event information are accurate and high quality
- Monitoring ticket sales performance and identifying opportunities to optimise results
- Provide reporting, audience insights and advice to support event success
- Manage post-event settlements and reporting
- Support promotions, presales, offers and ticketing communications
- Step in to support ticketing queries and customer issues when it matters most
If you enjoy juggling multiple events, solving problems on the fly, and working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll feel right at home here.
About you
You’re someone who loves getting into the detail, keeps things moving, and builds strong relationships along the way.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in ticketing, events, venues or a customer-focused environment
- Confidence working with ticketing systems (Ticketmaster experience is a bonus)
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to getting things right
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Great communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Confidence interpreting data and turning insights to support decision making
You’ll be proactive and solutions-focused team players, the ability to build strong working relationships across a wide range of stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
