Settlement Road, Te Horo, Kāpiti Coast

Meaning ‘sunset glow’, Kokomea has a sweeping outlook over Kapiti Island and the Kāpiti Coast. An hour’s drive north of Wellington, you access these secluded lodgings via back country roads and farmland before taking a final 10-minute walk through native bush. Once you arrive at the PurePod, privacy and tranquillity are all around, with no neighbours to interrupt the peace except the native bird life. With three glass sides and a glass roof — the eco-cabin is the perfect way to reconnect with nature. Go to bed and watch the stars.
