The Wellington culinary scene is constantly changing. As trends come and go so do restaurants. Egmont St Deli & Diner is a chameleon and continues to morph and adapt to the times. Hungry Wellingtonians have been getting their fill of its award-winning food since 2015. The owners always like to think outside the box, and this doesn’t just apply to the menu — its premises are in an old industrial car park. The once unremarkable space is now a modern, multi-level, light-filled eatery. The minimalist interior is a perfect backdrop to allow the food to shine.
