In April 2026, the hills and trails around Wellington offer six possible routes for athletes to push their limits. Beginning with 6-kilometre and 12km tests, the routes grow in length to 25km, 53km, 103km, and a colossal 161-kilometre challenge. You choose the length depending on your ability.
The fault lines around Wellington have pushed and pulled the land to create soaring peaks, rugged ridgelines, and bush-clad hills. Athletes can choose trails that wind through Wellington City, Karori, Porirua, Belmont, the Hutt River Trail, and Kāpiti. Sign up and compete — you’re likely to get the best after-match stories you will ever tell.
