Kāpiti Food Fair

The Kāpiti Food Fair is an annual festival that brings life and flavour to the Kāpiti Coast. Held in early December, the one-day event is hosted in the stunning Mazengarb Reserve in Paraparaumu.

The fair attracts over 10,000 visitors each year. With over 250 vendors serving a wide range of delicious culinary delights, there’s something for everyone. Vendors sell packaged food, beverages, and other food-related products for visitors to take home, as well as ready-to-eat food.

The day offers a mix of both food and entertainment. Relax at the Tuatara Bar & Stage with a craft beer, glass of wine or cocktail. Enjoy live musical performances and circus buskers, or check out the sustainable foods zone. Kids are in for a treat with a free area for them to enjoy games, face painting, and more. Even dogs on leads are welcome to join the festivities.

The Kāpiti Food Fair is more than a celebration of food; it’s an event that brings the community together. Rain or shine, the fair runs from 10am to 4pm and promises a day filled with fun and excitement.
