After it's first appearance in 2025, the WOW Wanderer is back, and bigger than ever. The Wanderer is a free hop on/hop off bus loop around Wellington CBD, available exclusively to WOW 2026 ticket holders. It stops at key shopping, culture, and hospitality areas around the city, helping you make the most of your WOW experience in Wellington.
The service runs Wednesday to Sunday throughout the WOW 2026 season. The first run is at 9:30am and last run starts at 3:30pm. The full loop takes approximately 30 minutes, making it an easy and convenient way to travel between Wellington's must-visit destinations.
To take the WOW Wanderer, simply show the driver your valid WOW 2026 show ticket and hop on. Seating is limited, so peak times may mean less availability.
While on board, enjoy commentary from our wonderful drivers, information about the city and the WOW offers throughout the CBD. If you are at the stop and the bus isn't quite there, never fear, it will be looping around and on it's way back to pick you up.
