We’re looking for a collaborative team player who comes with plenty of experience in customer service training and development, people leadership and has a passion for events.
You’ll need to have proven leadership expertise with a strong focus on ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience whilst in our venues. You will be responsible for ensuring a pool of approximately 70 casual Hosts are fully trained, rostered and carry out their role to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Work in collaboration with the wider Events and Experiences Team and supply partners (e.g. Caterers) to deliver an excellent experience to all guests to the venues.
- Manage and roster approximately 70 casual staff members to various events across multiple venues each week
- Provide leadership, support and supervision to the Hosts in the form of training and development as well as pre-event briefs and on the floor leadership
- Assisting in providing a health and safety conscious event environment, including mitigating risks to you, your team and guests.
About you
Our ideal person will be a natural people leader with a strong customer focus and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. Your background will be in a customer service or rostering role, and we’re after someone who is solutions focused with an ability to think outside the box.
The attributes and experience you will bring to the role and team:
- Previous experience managing a large pool of casual staff, including experience in leadership, training and development.
- Experience in rostering casual staff across multiple sites
- A strong background in customer service with excellent relationship management skills and the proven ability to meet customer/client needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate information clearly including both verbal and written abilities
- Be highly organised to ensure all aspects of work are carried out in a timely and high-quality manner
- Knowledge of EBMS, Humanforce or another event/rostering system is desirable.
