Guenther Steiner.

Former Haas F1 boss Guenther Steiner brings his new live show, ‘No Team Orders’, to The Opera House in Wellington. The 2026 season gave Formula 1 new cars, new rules, and new teams on the grid. Days after the final race, Guenther unpacks it all. He shares his take on which teams cracked the rule changes first and which young drivers stood out. Expect blunt opinions and stories from inside the paddock.

Guenther has spent more than 30 years in motorsport. He started in rallying, working with drivers such as Colin McRae, a three-time Rally New Zealand winner. He later ran Jaguar Racing in Formula 1. Then he built the Haas team from scratch and led it for a decade. You might have seen him on the Netflix series ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’, where his colourful honesty made him a fan favourite. He famously claims he has never watched it. He has also written two books, ‘Surviving to Drive’ and ‘Unfiltered’. Today, he is CEO of the Red Bull KTM Tech3 MotoGP team.

The evening is a live conversation on stage, followed by an audience Q&A. Bring a question of your own and put it to Guenther directly. Join whether you’ve just discovered him or you’ve followed Formula 1 since you were a wee one. Book your seats, and leave with enough insider secrets to impress at the work Christmas party.
