UK electronic pioneers Leftfield will celebrate 36 years of music-making when they play Wellington in March. Their influence helped define progressive house and experimental electronic music. Leftfield is expected to bring huge energy to Shed 6. For the tour concerts, they will delve into back catalogue hits as well as their most recent remix collection ‘Full Way Round’. 

The group, made up of duo Neil Barnes and Paul Daley, emerged from London’s club scene in 1989. They were among the first to bring fully live electronic music production into large-scale venues and festivals. Their 1995 Mercury Prize-winning debut album ‘Leftism’, and its 1999 follow-up ‘Rhythm and Stealth’, placed them alongside electronica acts like the Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy.
