Messiah

It’s one of the great Christmas traditions — listening to a performance of Handel’s Messiah. Orpheus Choir Wellington, Orchestra Wellington, and four soloists join forces to bring this timeless masterpiece to life. A beacon of holiday joy for centuries, Messiah blends grandeur, beauty, and drama in equal measure. 

Under the direction of Brent Stewart, this performance promises to capture the full brilliance of Handel’s most beloved work. From the powerful The Trumpet Shall Sound to the transcendent Hallelujah Chorus, Messiah is an uplifting musical journey. Soloists include Emma Pearson, Maaike Christie-Beekman, Lila LJ Crichton, and Joel Amosa.
