Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre
Tākina Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wellington, New Zealand is purpose-built for conferences. It offers modern spaces and customisation for any event.
Dockside is a maritime-themed restaurant housed in a historic waterfront shed. It has one of the largest outdoor dining spaces sitting over water in the southern hemisphere.
The menu is largely seafood-based, emphasising fresh produce, and sourcing seafood daily from local markets. The drinks list features wine from Martinborough — Wellington’s neighbouring wine region — plus local craft beer.
On a sunny day, there’s nowhere better for a meal or a drink. On days that are not so sunny, the deck has a large retractable roof to provide shelter from the elements, giving the feel of alfresco dining.
Dockside has three main areas that can cater for everything from private dinners to cocktail parties and corporate events.
