1 Upland Road, Kelburn, Wellington
The Wellington Cable Car Museum building was built in 1902 to house the winding gear which pulled Wellington’s first cable cars from the city centre up to Kelburn.
It has since been renovated and is a memorable destination for your next function or event. From cocktails and nibbles to receptions and launches, this boutique museum provides the ideal location for a special event. It has a capacity of up to 90 guests. Two floors of open gallery space provide a unique venue with original cable cars and the working sitting room as a backdrop.
