Bill Bailey.

It’s a celebration of comedy, songs, and multifarious skills. Bill Bailey Vaudevillian is a wild ride through the lost art of vaudeville. Before streaming, before TV, before cinema, even before radio, there was vaudeville.

A theatrical tradition invented mid-19th century in France, vaudeville was a type of variety show. It might have included popular and classical musicians, singers, dancers, magicians, ventriloquists, strongmen, impersonators, or clowns.

British comedian Bill Bailey is familiar to Wellington audiences. He’s toured several popular stand-up shows to the Michael Fowler Centre. His latest will put his musical and humorous skills to the test.

As a versatile musician and comedian, Bill is a modern-day vaudevillian. Come one, come all and experience his modern take on a classic tradition.
