The Royal New Zealand Ballet’s 2024 season celebrates the vast possibility of dance.

Both the grand tradition of ballet and the inventiveness of contemporary choreographers are covered in the exciting programme. Two beloved ballets are back by popular demand and two thrilling world premieres are offered to audiences.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

24 – 27 October 2024St James Theatre

Shakespeare’s iconic characters and enchanted wood come to life in this sparkling ballet. Created for the RNZB by Liam Scarlett, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ was an overnight sensation at its premiere in 2015.
