About the trail

If you don't have the time or stamina to complete the full length of the Spoonhill trail, then cut down Ngā Tuna for a quick return to the Wetland Loop.

Getting there

  • The trail is accessible by turning right off Spoonhill.
  • There are regular bus and train services to Wainuiomata and the surrounding areas. Timetables are available from Metlink.
