Dermot Kennedy: The Weight of the Woods Tour

Singer/songwriter and multi-platinum recording artist Dermot Kennedy has confirmed he’s coming to Wellington, New Zealand, as part of his international The Weight of the Woods Tour. The tour follows the release of his new album, also called The Weight of the Woods. Poetry and music from the album’s fourteen tracks draw inspiration, energy, and strength from Dermot’s native Ireland. You’ll get to hear those songs plus more from his previous albums. 

Known for his passionate and powerful live performances, the gig will feature songs like Honest, Refuge and the anthemic lead single Funeral. Dermot Kennedy created UK chart history as the first Irish solo artist ever to reach Number 1 with their first three studio albums. His highly successful songwriting continues with this latest album.
