It looks like New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has smashed it for six. The 2026-27 international home season of cricket promises an exciting few months of action across the country. Wellington has scored six major opportunities to see the BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS in action. Three formidable opponents are travelling to New Zealand’s shores. The Indian, Bangladeshi, and Sri Lankan teams have booked their tickets for Aotearoa and will play tests, ODIs, and T20 matches against the Kiwi women’s and men’s teams.
The Indian men’s team will be particularly busy during their visit. With twelve matches booked against the BLACKCAPS, it will be the most internationals scheduled for an Indian men’s tour in NZC history. Fans will get their chance to see them duke it out in all three formats across the capital, beginning with a T20 at Hnry Stadium on 27 October.
Make sure you don’t miss the WHITE FERNS. They host Bangladesh in Wellington in a T20 and ODI, during their only home tour of the summer. The Wellington schedule finishes with a visit from Sri Lanka for an ODI against the BLACKCAPS on 19 January at the Cello Basin Reserve.
With games split across Hnry Stadium and Cello Basin Reserve, the city will be bouncing with life. The 2025/26 season saw bumper crowds, and our men's and women's sides are set to build on this exciting momentum.
