Space Place at Carter Observatory has four event spaces available for hire. You can explore exhibitions and look at the night sky through the historic Thomas Cooke telescope, making it an unforgettable event.

Only five minutes from central Wellington, Space Place at Carter Observatory can accommodate up to 180 people for your event. Whether it’s a corporate away day, a media presentation or an evening dinner function, Space Place has a venue for you.

Managed by Museums Wellington, the team can discuss event options and launch your mission for an unforgettable event. You can add stargazing sessions, telescope viewings, and planetarium shows to your venue hire.
