Make yourself at home at The Runholder. A destination of Wairarapa’s boutique wine village, it’s home to two wineries and a distillery.

Hidden in the rolling hills and vineyards of Martinborough, The Runholder is a spectacular event location. Local winery Te Kairanga, Martinborough Vineyard, and Lighthouse Gin call the restaurant and venue home. The hidden venue is easily accessible with plenty of on-site parking and a helipad.

The architectural design of the restaurant and tasting room is warm and elegant. Present, workshop, relax, and dine across three spaces. The knowledgeable hosts provide opportunities for unique breakaways and activities.

The menu celebrates local produce, and, of course, wines. Sample fresh drops from Te Kairanga and Martinborough Vineyard. A must-try at the venue, delve into a guided wine or gin-tasting. Or, see the distiller at work in the distillery while enjoying a Lighthouse Gin & Tonic.
