When comedian Chris Parker was young, he liked attention. He’s always endeavoured to make people look at him. In his latest show, he continues the theme of a lifetime. Take a Good Hard Look at Me displays the Kiwi comic’s sharp wit and clever timing. Chris says of his hour-long show — “There’s no secrets about to be dished, no valuable lesson to take away. I’m just a 35-year-old gay man, who was told there was something special about him as a kid and has been grappling with that ever since.”
Chris is an actor, comedian, writer, and podcaster. He gained fame on TV’s Have You Been Paying Attention and Thank God You’re Here. He has written and performed extensively with Tom Sainsbury on live shows such as The Opening Night Before Christmas, Camping, Giggly Gerties, and Hauraki Horror. He also created and performed several sketch comedy shows with fellow comedian Hayley Sproull, including Tighty Whiteys, The Outsiders’ Guide, and Milky Bits.
