Home Brew's legendary 'Last Week' EP has come of age and it's coming to the capital to celebrate. Released 18 years ago, 'Last Week' follows seven days in the life of roguish hip-hop crew Home Brew.
The group built a devoted following through a string of independent releases in the early 2010s. Its self-titled debut album in 2012 reached number one in New Zealand. The group returned to the charts in 2023 with 'Run It Back', introducing its music to a new generation of listeners.
The group will play 'Last Week' in full at Shed 6, alongside favourites from its celebrated catalogue. Known for a DIY approach and uncompromising sound, Home Brew remains one of the country's most celebrated hip-hop acts. The show offers Wellington fans the chance to revisit a landmark release and hear the songs that have shaped the group's enduring legacy.
