New Jersey hell-raisers Lorna Shore make their first-ever appearance in New Zealand this October. For the past 15 years, the band has pushed beyond the confines of the heavy band genre. Since forming in 2009, Lorna Shore has evolved into a powerhouse of intense brutality and melodic sorcery. To the mainstream, their signature brand of deathcore has become infamous. Their 2020 album ‘Immortal’, along with the guttural vocal acrobatics of vocalist Will Ramos, has catapulted the group beyond cult status and into global renown.
Lorna Shore offer the ultimate meeting point between unbridled catharsis, raw emotion, searing sonic aggression and cinematic beauty. Their fifth studio album, 2025’s ‘I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me’, continues to galvanise a significant fanbase. For the Wellington show at Shed 6, they will be joined by fellow American heavy hitters in The Acacia Strain and local New Zealand death metallers Organectomy.
They show us exactly why they sit atop the heap...they pour such heart, soul, effort and wrenching emotion into their set, it takes the breath away.
