The Dire Straits Experience

The music of Dire Straits holds a special place in the hearts of Kiwis. In the 80s and 90s, the band broke multiple records for both concert attendance and records sold. The Dire Straits Experience returns after a six-year break to help you relive the celebrated music. Led by Dire Straits’ own Chris White, the group features the extraordinary talents of Terence Reis along with six world-class musicians. 

The Shiver in the Dark World Tour is a two-hour show filled with all the great tunes. Hear ‘Money for Nothing’, ‘Walk of Life’, ‘Brothers in Arms’, ‘Sultans of Swing’, ‘Tunnel of Love’, and many more. 

Whilst Mark Knopfler and the band permanently parted ways in 1995, their music has never waned in popularity. The band’s platinum catalogue continues to find fans across the world. The Dire Straits Experience celebrates this musical legacy.
