The trademark cheeky wit is back. South African-Kiwi Urzila Carlson is heading to Wellington with a new show. ‘You Don’t Say’ continues to cement her reputation as an undeniable force in the comedy world. Urzila recently presented this show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. There she was awarded People’s Choice Award for the most popular show of the festival. Talking about the upcoming tour she said, “It’s a show born out of sarcasm and storytelling from the mind of a woman who might be slightly out of her mind!”
This year is huge for the comedy queen. It began with a starring role in rom-com ‘Kinda Pregnant’ alongside Amy Schumer. The film has racked up over 25 million views on Netflix. Later in the year, Urzila will embark on her first national tour of the United States and her biggest tour of the United Kingdom.
