A group of young happy people outside at a music festival on a sunny day

High Tide is back and bigger than ever. The genre-bending, multi-stage music festival is heading to Waitangi Park in November. Festival-goers can hear a mix of music from drum & bass, to house, grime, and hip-hop, all among Wellington’s beautiful waterfront.

Every year, Hide Tide brings a range of international, New Zealand, and local talent. The 2025 festival lineup includes international performers from Australia, Europe and the UK. Australian producer and DJ LUUDE is a regular at major festivals like Tomorrowland and Reading & Leeds. He’s known in the global EDM scene. Austria’s Camo & Krooked will show off their blend of electronic music styles. Expect to hear drum & bass, dubstep, and even elements of disco. Basstripper, from Belgium, blends infectious basslines and captivating melodies. UK artists are well represented with the likes of Danny Byrd, London Elektricity, Goddard, and Songer.

Kiwi artists bring a range of music styles. There’s multi-instrumentalist Clova, genre-blending DJ Swimcap, and pop-punk artist Dani Josie. See hip-hop artist David Dallas, or Paige Julia, who navigates the grey area between breakbeat, dubstep, techno, jungle and hip-hop.

Check out the full lineup on the High Tide website and plan your day out.

Started in 2022, High Tide has been held at Lower Hutt’s Marine Parade. The 2025 event is the first time it has moved venue. The waterfront location will offer more capacity and increased accessibility for out-of-town attendees. “High Tide’s identity blends coastal charm with modern music flair,“ says Luke Williams, General Manager of Audiology. ”Waitangi Park balances both,“ Luke says.

It’s a great way to start your summer in style. The R18 event kicks off nice and early at 1pm and rolls on into the evening. After a sunny summer-day festival vibe? Looking to dance and party under the stars? Or up for a bit of both? High Tide 2025 will deliver.

Tickets will go on sale to the public on Wednesday 27 August
