What’s tough, fast, and physical? Wellington’s netball team, Te Wānanga o Raukawa Pulse. After reaching the semi-finals last year, the Pulse are hungry to dominate the ANZ Premiership this year. Their campaign kicks off in April and continues through to June. Five of the ten games are played on home soil, either at the TSB Arena on Wellington’s waterfront, Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua or Fly Palmy Arena in Palmerston North.
Netball is known for its speed, agility, deft footwork, and pinpoint feeds. As a live spectator sport, it always delivers. This year, Khiarna Williams, Ameliaranne Ekenasio and Ine-Marí Venter provide the fireworks at the shooting end of the court. Head court-side to cheer them on and feel the energy pulse.
