Since his career began in the 1960s, Tommy has toured with luminaries like Eric Clapton and John Denver. He has won a Grammy Award and performed for a televised audience of more than two billion at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Collaborations include guitar greats like Les Paul, Mark Knopfler, Joe Walsh, and Richard Thompson. 

Tommy’s hero, legendary guitarist Chet Atkins, bestowed the title of Certified Guitar Player (CGP) on him. He is one of only four players in the world with the title. Tommy Emmanuel CGP continues to push the boundaries of what is possible on the acoustic guitar.
