Tumeke is a popular downhill trail full of many features to up the skill level along the way.
For an intermediate ride, start the trail from Boundary Road opposite the end of The Doctor. If you want to push yourself, start from Upper Tumeke (an advanced Grade 4 trail).
The trail is for mountain bikers only.
Start from the Raiha Street entrance to Ngā Ara o Rangituhi. Head along Farm Road for about 1 kilometre. Turn left on to Boundary Road and continue to the start of Tumeke (next to The Doctor).
For a more advanced ride, you can start from Upper Tumeke.
