The brand-new Super Rugby Pacific season is here and our Hurricanes are on the hunt for glory
The Hurricanes are a professional rugby union team based in Wellington who compete in Super Rugby.
The team represents the lower North Island, including the East Coast, Hawke's Bay, Horowhenua Kapiti, Manawatu, Poverty Bay, Wairarapa-Bush, Wanganui and Wellington unions.
Sky Stadium is hosting all Hurricanes home matches for 2022, kicking off with the hotly anticipated Round 3 match against the Highlanders.

Super Rugby Pacific
19 February - 18 June
The 2022 Super Rugby Pacific season is the first edition of the tournament that will include two brand new teams: Fijian Drua and Moana Pasifika.
Featuring all five New Zealand Super Rugby teams, the season runs from 19 February through to 18 June 2022 (including finals).
The 12 participating teams will play 14 regular season games. 11 of these will be in a home-and-away format, with the remaining 3 to be played with focus on derby matches. The top 8 teams at the end of the regular season will qualify for play-offs.
A year in review
The Hurricanes once again showed their razzle dazzle in 2021 proving their status as one of the most exciting teams to watch in domestic rugby.
